    Friendly staff, fast service, excellent food at fair price. I opted for the speed's original cheesesteak, consisting of seasoned ground beef (not steak), onions, American cheese, and sauce. Their French fries are super good too. Great old school style shop in Lancaster city. I ain't got time for sit down fancy shmancy meals because I'm a warrior and I don't have time to sit down and take my time to eat. I've had their Philly style cheesesteak as well and it was good.

    Update (since 8/22/2018): went here again during lunch time 8/1/19. Still the great service, friendly staff. Got the Speed's original with sauce and onions. It was good.

    Pro tip: ask hot hot peppers on the side and add to your liking to the sandwich. It makes it better!

    Hard hitting cheeze steaks.  That meat is spiced very well and the runny whiz makes up for the weak bun.

    Definitely a spot only locals will know about. There is no website to speak of nor will you find any flashy menu boards or registers. Just your classic sub shop serving up delicious food. The cheesesteak is definitely in the top 3 for Lancaster City. The wiz portion is on point and the meat is seasoned wonderfully but the roll needs some work. Overall I will probably be back semi frequently as my friend has moved just down the street, and this place will definitely satisfy my cheesesteak cravings.

    The Lancaster-style cheesesteak seemed to be more like a sloppy joe.  My stomach didn't feel so great after.  The service is quick and friendly, and the turkey sub is good.

    Hands down the best cheesesteak in town. The Cook's here know what they're doing everyone comes out perfect every time. This is definitely a place you have to stop to eat if you're in town or if you just have never been there it's authentic 25 years and running
